I am pleased that my work has been displayed in articles, with
centerfold photos, in the premier design magazine, Architectural
Digest. Below are two photos that appeared in the magazine accompanying
an article on Michael Connors, New York City dealer of fine art
and antiques:

Michael Connors is a fine art and antique dealer in New York City.
He is a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers and
a well known authority in his field.
"...As a dealer in fine antiques for the past 20 years
I have engaged numerous restoration craftsmen. The best of these
have a genuine love for the history and integrity of each piece
they take into their shop. They have a refined eye, years of experience,
and they are reliable. They are also few and far between. Marc is
among this group. His work is of the highest caliber, and I have
come to rely on his talents for jobs both large and small."
Michael Connors, Ph. D., New York, NY

In October-November of 2001 I traveled to Havana, Cuba on the invitation
of Fundacion Amistad, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
fostering mutual understanding between the peoples of the United
States and Cuba. I conducted workshops on furniture restoration
and conservation for the City Historian's Office.
"Dear Marc,....Thank you for your outstanding work, dedication
and time. We hope you will be able to return to Cuba to conduct
more restoration and conservation workshops in the future. All who
participated raved about your knowledge and skill in these areas,
as well as your gift for teaching." Luly Duke, President,
Fundacion Amistad, East Hampton, NY

"Marc Mandon is an expert at restoring antiques,
be it family heirlooms or junkyard treasures. The best part of Marc
is that he uses his master woodworking to do just what his client
wants. He can reproduce, refinish and restore any piece of furniture.
I would highly recommend Marc to anyone needing work on their fine
furniture." Susie van der Vorst, Collector, Asheville,
